  1. If you know who Xavier Rudd is, then you know his style and his message. This album shows the evolution and maturing of Rudd, both musically and lyrically. For fans of reggae-influenced music, indie folk, Aboriginal folk, and world music, this is a must have album. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Absolutely brilliant!/5(51).
  2. Background and early life. Xavier Rudd grew up in Jan Juc, near Torquay, Victoria. He attended St Joseph's College, Geelong. His maternal grandfather was Dutch, born in Tilburg, a town in the Netherlands, before migrating to Australia.
